Friday Rates
Friday Rate quotes | | September 05, 2008 | | Have I said it doesn’t get any better than this to buy a new home? I know I have and I apologize for sounding like a broken record, but you have to stop and look at these rates. We have had rates go down four straight days in a row. The rates are fantastic, the sellers are motivated and there are great properties on the market for sale. It just doesn’t get any better than this if someone is thinking of buying a home. The bell is ringing so loud it is deafening. We have to be near the bottom of the market with value stabilization in site. Activity is definitely picking up.
This week the stock market has taken a little hit, but, oil is plunging down helping to stabilize the dollar against the Euro and the Yen. This stabilization is driving investors to the safe haven of treasury bonds and is pushing rates lower. With rates back in the 5’s this should definitely get the fence sitters down and in the game.
